The tourbillon complication is not often found on the Royal Oak watch line.The watch is not only a one off piece for the Audemars Piguet brand, but also exhibits an interesting design. While the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Abruzzo Tourbillon with Chronograph watch is thoroughly modern, style points right back to the original Royal Oak watches from the 1970’s. This is seen in the hour markers and hands, as well as the “mega tapestry” pattern for the dial.
The model in question features a 30-minute chronograph, which happens to be much more sophisticated than most of its counterparts incorporated in Audemars Piguet timepieces.
Featuring a sandblasted titanium case, the timepiece is accompanied by a fine strap finished with a folding titanium buckle.
